Although the S7 is the first model from Honda's newly introduced Ye brand in China, the company has opted not to use the Ye branding for this SUV, launching it instead as the Honda S7 in the Chinese market.

The all-electric S7 features a length of 4,750 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of 1,625 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. It is 47 mm shorter than the new Tesla Model Y, but its wheelbase is 40 mm longer. The SUV offers a trunk capacity of 471 liters and comes standard with 19-inch wheels, while the higher trim level upgrades to 21-inch rims.

Inside, the Honda S7 boasts a 24-inch portrait-oriented display and a 9.9-inch LCD instrument cluster. One of its standout features is the 41.9-inch augmented reality head-up display. The SUV also includes heated seats and a heated steering wheel, along with a standard eight-speaker sound system. The premium trim level features a 16-speaker Bose sound system. Additionally, the Honda S7 is equipped with Honda Sensing, the automaker's suite of advanced driver assistance features.

The rear-wheel-drive version of the S7 is powered by a single electric motor on the rear axle, generating a peak output of 200 kW (268 hp) and 420 Nm of torque. The motor is powered by an 89.8 kWh ternary NMC battery, providing a CLTC range of 650 km.

For those opting for the all-wheel-drive (4WD) variant, dual electric motors produce a combined 350 kW (469 hp) and 770 Nm of torque. This variant can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. It shares the same 89.8 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 620 km under CLTC conditions. The battery can be charged to 80% in just 36 minutes.
